My Story

From: Durban kwazulu-natal

I’ve always being athletic ,representing my province at numerous sports. Unfortunately my dreams of representing my country came to a holt when i was 16. Life threw me alot of curve balls which wasn’t easy to navigate. Its been a steep climb to get to where i am today & at times i was just barely hanging on but now 19yrs later im finally becoming the athlete i was truly meant to be . So this is my 5th year entering and at 35 im only touching the tip of my true fitness potential. The last few years of mud sweat and tears are starting to pay of. In the past few years i took up ocr and trail running and boy do i love it, my goal is to compete amongst the best of the best and it won’t be long until im on that podium . Life has taught me that no matter how big the obstacle or tough your situation is determination, consistency and self belief will get you over that obstacle. I believe i am your ideal candidate because like the toyota fortuner there is no quit in me, im tough, consistent, highly motivated, love the outdoors and passionate about fitness I’ve also completed 2 triathlons and I’m here to show every south african out there young & old that its never to late to realise your dreams, its never to late to change your life for the better if i can do it, so can you. Life has so much to offer us, i believe theres greatness in each and everyone. We are the captains of our own ship, we can’t change the direction of the wind but we can adjust our sails…

“Remember you can’t turn back the clock but you can always wind it up again”.

Winning the title along with the fortuner would be such an honor and achievement for me.
