My Story

“Howzit” this is the upbeat and nutty Zach Preyser speaking. I’m 24yrs young (wink) and loving life. I am a proud canoeing athlete, an ultra-distance paddling athlete to be precise. Yes, I’m the kind of bloke who loves pushing himself beyond the max while covering mammoth like distances and never throwing in the towel. Having placed in the top 10 for the Berg River Canoe Marathon & PE2EL surf ski challenge, this is only the tip of the iceberg of what I get up to.
On top of this I’m a passionate surf ski paddling coach. It gives me immense joy to immerse myself in nurturing newcomers, giving them the skills and confidence to enjoy paddling and to be the best they can be. I believe I have what it takes to be a worthy candidate for this prestigious event.
